Castle School provides a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment for students with social, emotional, mental health (SEMH) needs and associated health challenges. Many of our students are autistic and benefit from a personalised, structured approach to education that meets their individual needs.
We deliver highly specialised, inclusive education through:
· Individualised learning plans tailored to each student’s needs and strengths.
· A trauma-informed and autism-friendly approach that promotes emotional regulation, self-esteem, and independence.
· Therapeutic support embedded into the school day, including access to therapeutic practitioners, speech and language therapists, and an occupational therapist.
· Strong partnerships with families, carers, and external professionals to ensure a joined-up approach to care and education.
· A calm, structured environment that emphasises consistency, clear expectations, and positive relationships.
