Pupils come onto the school roll via 2 routes. The majority are via SEND consultation. In addition, for those pupils unable to attend their mainstream school owing to medical need, a referral is submitted to the In Year Fair Access Panel at Derby City Council. Decisions from these referrals are made at Secondary Placement Panel. Schools send referral forms and accompanying medical information for consideration before a place is offered; these pupils will become dual registered with the referring school.
