Last year, we held a special fundraising day to support our new library. On Friday, 31st January, Darren, Sophie, and the Nurture class students took a trip to Park Farm Centre with a collection of second-hand adult fiction books.
We donated these books to three different charity shops and used the money raised to purchase new teen books for our library. The result? A huge haul—74 books packed into a large bag for life and a full suitcase!
To celebrate our successful morning, we stopped off for a well-earned Frappuccino—a definite highlight for the young people involved!
