As part of P16/Careers activities Castle School’s year 11 students visited Aerozone at East Midlands Airport. They had a tour of the facility and explored the different job roles within the airport and linked them to qualifications, skillsets and broader career opportunities.
Students experienced working on the checkout desks, baggage handling area, flight simulators and many more areas within the airport. This opportunity provided them with a great insight into how many roles there are within a working airport and give them a real understanding of further opportunities around employment and relevant qualification pathways needed.
