Castle School went on our first-ever whole-school trip to the pantomime on Tuesday, 16th December – Oh yes, we did!
Thirty-two students from Years 7, 8, 9, and 11 were accompanied by 14 members of staff to Derby Arena to watch Dick Whittington. Wendi Peters played an excellent villain, and Morgan Brind was a fabulous pantomime dame with a dazzling array of costumes, including a cruise ship and a desert island.
Castle students and staff had an amazing time shouting “It’s behind you!” and dancing along in our seats to music from Wicked and K-Pop Demon Hunters. All of our students behaved wonderfully, both in the theatre and on the bus there and back and were a real credit to Castle School.
Snow White for next year’s panto, anyone?
