In recognition of their effort and hard work in preparing for and sitting their GCSEs, Castle School hosted its first-ever Year 11 Leavers Prom.

Many students arrived in style, accompanied by proud parents, carers, and other family members.

As the Year 11s entered Castle, they were greeted with decorations galore, reflecting the black and gold theme.

The common room was transformed into a disco. DJ Fish, also known as the Nurture Teacher, was on the decks, playing today’s hits along with some classics from the ’80s. Staff and students danced the night away.

With all the dancing, staff and students took a well-earned break to enjoy a buffet and mocktails provided by Castle School.

Special thanks to one of the students’ parents for donating a cake and gifts.

As the night drew to a close, there was time for a few final photos of staff and students together one last time before we bid farewell to ‘Castle’s Class of 2024’.

We look forward to seeing many of them on results day in August and wish them the very best as they embark on their next steps in their Post-16 courses and continue their educational journey.
