This model underpins access to high quality support and outcomes for students in relation to their own individual starting point on entry to Castle School. We understand the comorbidity factors that are barriers to education as well as students varied experiences in other settings. We provide three supportive Gateway pathways into Castle School via a graduated response, in line with the needs of the individual. Within the three Gateway pathways there is a dedicated Inclusion team who works with the young people and all key stakeholders to secure a successful entry into education to Castle School.
Inclusion team – SENCO, Engagement Mentor, Family Support Worker, Safeguarding Lead, Attendance Lead

Intent – Improve students life chances and provide opportunities for successful futures
Implementation – Three Gateway pathways to enable students to access a broad curriculum through adaptive teaching
Impact – Academic outcomes, data, attendance, behavior/engagement, SEMH progress indicators, next destination data
