Year 11 students took part in a careers workshop delivered by Derbyshire Constabulary, led by our local Youth Engagement Officers, Daisy and Tracey. The workshop covered all aspects of working for the force including:
- Who they are and what they do
- The various roles available (staff and officers)
- What the various job roles involve
- Entry requirements
- Recruitment processes
- Core qualifications needed
The Officers also gave the students information on how to become a Police Cadet and the types of ‘undercover missions’ they could potentially be involved in!
